yep.
Docsis 3.0 can do some pretty high speeds.
I only have 10MB, but the problem I see is that sites still don't max even that.
Most of the time I get downloads from sites in the 5MB range.
The only thing that maxes out my connect is something like giganews, or opening multiple connections on a ftp download.
I have 10 Mb too and most sites will max mine out.. I use Ubuntu for my OS and every time I download updates for it, it goes at about 1.2 MB/s, which should be around my max.
I also have 10Mb/s and i find most sites give me about 9.6mb/s but the real fast stuff like akamai and other CDN's like that i get about 15-20Mb/s from.
This is my 10/1 business cable. From Bright House Networks, formally time warner cable.
I have a server in my office that is on Time Warner Telecom, and i only download like 1mb/s from it. Since there not peered with BHN it goes all the way from here in florida to DC then back down.
