Crinching When Logged Out In Win 2K

I have set up my dad's computer to crunch work units using the CLI when his PC is logged in, but the problem is, his PC spends most of it's time logged out (There are 4 users and a guest). So I was wondering if there was a way to set up the computer to run the CLI version when it is logged out. I have tried the normal screen saver, but it is installed in windows 2000, so there is no phantom user like in Windows 98 to set it up. Is there any way to do this? Thanks for the help.

Nathan, the service install is exactly what you're looking for. It runs in the background as part of Windows, and not as a user app.

Here is one place you can find what you need to set it all up.

Let us know if you need help!

Edit: Baldy, you beat me to it!!!

Who got the admin rights for your father's computer? You need admin's priveledge to install it as service🙂
