I know there are a million etoys threads going now, but: They have Crimson Skies for $26.99. Lowest price on pricewatch is $40+. This is an awesome game (though, a warning, it's not nearly as fun if you don't have a joystick).

Great Deal! I loved the demo, but can't afford the price of the full game. This puts it almost in reach. Maybe if I streach those budget dollors just a little bit more... ;)

Yeah, just hope your order isn't added to to stack of 'creditors owed' by etoys as it goes out of business.

It becomes a fight with the credit card companies, if they try to do that. The real issue is how your credit card company treats you.

If they have the stock, it is probably cool. They want to raise the cash from the credit card companies, which won't pay them if they don't fulfill the order. If they are going through a supplier who hasn't sold it to them yet, then it might not go through. Because the supplier won't like his chances of getting paid 100 cents on the dollar.

Everyone needs a dose of reality on eToys. This is a going out of business sale. Their creditors are likely in control, and believe me, they want and NEED to sell this stock. Everyone keeps saying "don't waste your time, it won't come." Of course it will come. They're even taking out ads advertising this sale.

And I assure you they're not going to charge thousands of credit cards before heading for the border.
