I downloaded the demo and played with my wife, her an assassin and me the warrior. It was ok, insanly repetative though.

I paid for all characters but yeah, one character would have been enough. I have no desire to go back and play as the other characters.

I am very impressed with the mechanics. Reminds me of Torchlight, but it plays much better.

I only demo'ed it. Not sure there is much in longevity in it.

Since I have been playing this game I can say it is a good game but not grate. It is a lot of button mashing to fight. After an hour or 2 my hand starts to really feel the effect. The reason for the button mashing is you have to crowd control, keep your bubble shield up and it only last like 3 to 5 seconds so you are always pulling the trigger, worrying about getting range, while throwing damage in the mix. I’m doing all of this in the matter of 5 seconds. Also you have items you can use such as healing totems, fire axes, monster bate and torrents that shoot bullets. So there is a lot going on in very short amount of time. I’m still not 100% flowing with the controls but I’m getting there.

There is no leveling system to get power you have to get gold to buy all you weapons and gear. You get gold by killing mobs, finding secret chambers that have gold and how well you score after each dungeon crawl. At the end of each dungeon crawl it will score your combat, time it took, and how many secret chambers you found and based on that it will give you gold. So the life line of this game is all about gold. It even will let you buy gold with real money off Xbox live.

The bosses and trash mobs are pretty good you have you use certain skills to fight them such as mobs with a bubble shield you have to be close range and use lighting stun to pop the bubble shield. So you do get see some verity of mobs. You see ninjas, zombies, skeletons, wizards, knights and such.

I think if Crimson Alliance had a skill tree and leveling system that this would make it a much better game. Right now all I feel like I’m doing is looking for gold to buy the better gear. Each dungeon crawl gets harder and you come across new venders that you can buy new gear and you always want to get the better gear, with out the better gear it makes the fighting much harder to complete a dungeon.

My buddy and I crushed through this game and it was pretty fun. He played as the warrior and I was the wizard. Playing on Immortal definitely made it more of a challenge since we refused to pay for gold to get decent gear. Actually had to use some strategy along with our button mashing.
