Crimson 15.12 and Server 2008 R2 ...any luck?

has anyone successfully installed it on 2008 R2? i never got it working with what i think was 15.11 and had to go all the way back to Omega 14.12 (after many reboots and uninstall/reinstall attempts)
 
AFAIK, the Crimson release is targeted towards consumer/enthusiast market. It is not meant to be installed on Enterprise systems/OS.
 
It installs without any problems (both as an upgrade and also as new) on Server 2012R2.
Don't see any reason 2008R2 should be a problem.
