this is not some crazy rant about expecting movies/shows to be logical. its more like just things that bother me for the sake of plot advancement.
Not just TV shows, but movies too.
While I do enjoy these shows, certain aspects get me annoyed quickly.
Such as:
1. running from a car chasing you. why do they always have the victim trying to out run a car in the street? people can change direction better than a car can. just go left or right and the driver will have trouble following you.
2. pulling out a gun. if you are going to pull out a gun learn to aim and shoot. seriously, just shoot the person who's trying to kill you. don't hesitate. don't get distracted by something else. don't stand there making threats or discussing stuff. just shoot. this applies to good and bad guys.
3. gun training. why do police officers in these shows fail to hit a bad guy/target 10 feet in front of them when they shoot? plot device maybe, but its annoying that they have gun training and can't seem to hit anything they aim at.
4. serving a search/arrest warrant at someone's home. usually there are more than 2 officers doing this and it seems no one bothers to secure the rear of the house. So guess what happens. yup, he goes running out the back and usually gets away. plot device, I know, but it still seems kind of lazy to not put an officer back there just in case.
I am sure there are other things that annoy me about these shows but these are the main ones.
please keep in mind this is just my opinion and it means nothing.
