Bah! I paid $120 for my G400 Dual head over a year ago. I'll stick with it until I can't run games decently. Blowing $500 on a video card is worse than spending money on a car.

Besides. I've got a nice couch and chair that I have to pay for. They've got a little longer life cycle than 6 months

I got back $1600 from Federal (Paying for me and my friends Trip to France for Spring Break in about a week) but I owe State $300.

jw, why exactly do people get money back from taxes? I never understood that part of getting money back.

It's nice that you are getting money back, but you realize that you have given our wonderful federal government an interest-free loan on your hard earned money for the last 12 months?

Better to calculate your taxes accurately and have them withdraw the appropriate amount from your weekly/monthly paycheck. You easily could have earned an extra 7% on that money if it was put into a CD.

At least if you had a kid or two you'd be getting someone else's money, rended from them because they had the gumption to earn it so the Gov can take it away and give it to people who didn't earn it.
