cricket sounds

I went to the beach with a bunch of friends the other day. We sitting around sharing jokes, when someone told an incredibly bad joke. Without even thinking about it, I just came out with "cricket sounds". The guys thought it was brilliant, gave them a good laugh, but I couldn't take credit for it, so I told them I got this from a message board I frequented.

Do you guys use this and other ATOTisms in everyday conversation? (I know, cricket sound s might not have originated from ATOT, but I picked it up here.)

I remember actually saying "Get out of the gene pool!" at one time, too. 🙂
 
I said "r0x0r5 j00R b0x0r5" once after putting down a few and everyone else in a similar state of mind thought it was pretty funny.

What if there really are crickets in the background?

I wish I had a super sensitive mic or something, there are SO many crickets around here...

I was thinking of somehow putting a cricket sounds file in my cellphone. It plays a sound effect when I open it (clamshell type), it would be perfect for this. 🙂
