Saw at local Target that they have a 2 pack of the new Crest Spinbrush Pro (battery powered toothbrush) for $4.99. The package is labeled "buy 1, get 1 free". What makes it a good deal is the fact that they are normally selling for $7.99 each....and here you are getting two for $4.99. The heads are replaceable, and the batteries are replaceable too. You can't recharge it like the higher end models, but buy some rechargable batteries, and you are set!

Great deal if you've been like me wanting to try a "electric" toothbrush, but haven't wanted to fork over $50 for brands like the Sonic toothbrush.

These are decent, but they're really no comparison to a Sonicaire. These take the work out of your elbow, sonicaire just cleans the @#$ out of your teeth :)

But heck, I think I paid 3 or 4 bucks for my last regular toothbrush, so 2.50 for one of these is still great.

I bought two for one of the Spinbrush Pro's @ CVS awhile back... I think it was $5.99 or like. I tried the Sonicare, and I thought my teeth were gonna pop outta my head. Seems I'm one of the lucky few that cant take those high freq vibes... Anyways, the batteries are still going on the first brush (after ~2 months use) so I think I'm good for awhile. Good post and thanks! If I find myself near enough to stop in and get it I will as it's a killer price.

Hehe, yeah, at first my sonicare tickled the bejeezus out of me. I got a new one recently though, and now they ramp up in power, and don't reach their normal setting until after 12 or so brushes to help you get used to it.

I've been using the Spinbrush Pro for about a month now, and I have to wonder if it's really better than normal brushing. It's nice that the Pro not only oscillates the circular portion of the brush, but also the main portion. The keyword is oscillate. The circular portion doesn't actually spin, and the bristles are all pretty soft. I can put my fingers against them while the brush is on, and it feels like nothing is moving against my fingers. All I feel is a vibration. They don't seem to oscillate far enough to break contact with my fingers.

Do you guys just kind of hold the brush against your teeth and let it do the brushing or do you still brush like you regularly would with a non-powered toothbrush? Maybe the sonicare oscillates farther to actually make a difference.
