Creepy sounds

I've got a radio play on tape called "The fog" which used binaural, from the late '80s.

Haha that reminds me of something. 🙂

Yes if you want to be creeped out by binarual imaging try something like this.

Probably doesn't sound that good through speakers. Matter of fact, most true, straight binaural recordings sound almost monophonic through conventional loudspeaker setups.

what is that sound from? sounds straight from a horror movie
wait... "..... ....." 🙂 just figured it out as im listening to it (will help keep it a secret, makes the one moment more freaky)

Even stranger is the stuff that makes speakers image way out and over using interarural crosstalk cancellation. 🙂

It's "Holophonic"
Wasn't that the instrument Fry played on Futurama?

Holophonor. And the proper term for this type of recording is "binaural", and I've had this mp3 for almost a year now. Sit on your bed in the dark and listen to this on an iPod. It's craaaaaaaazy.

I'm not saying Holophonic is the right term for it, but that's what they called it and clearly holographic isn't right. So I was pointing out that's why a search on it probably failed.
