There are internet business that sells personal information to everyone. You pay them a fee and send them the information you have and they'll trace the person for you. If no result, no fee.

Some of the infos available are cellphone number to owner name+address, unlisted # to address+owner, vehicle license plates to corresponding owner + license plate, driver's license number trace and many more.

It was my understanding that these infos are not supposed to be available to the general public :Q.

Where on the earth do they get these info and how do they make it legal to do this?

An example of service:

"You give us a cellular telephone number, (company name) will provide you with the current GPS coordinates of the telephone. The phone must be turned on and in the United States.
$125.00
You get GPS and the nearest street address!"

Maybe one of the kids on the reduced lunch program has a cell phone and ol' Jer wants to bring down the thunder on him.

As long as you were annoyed about something, all is right in the world.

I saw something like that, you can find people unlisted #'s and stuff. Could be useful if one was very bored.

Yeah right. These are very expensive services. Personally I don't approve of making a business out of people's personal information :|

The only one who has access to coordinates would be the cellphone tower. They're releasing this kind of information to private company who in turn sells the info to the general public?

I hate when that happens, earlier today I saw a Stiler post and I posted and gave him some help. I felt awful after, was on the brink of tears for a few hours.
