Monday I got my fancy new ABIT NF&-S with a Barton 2500+ When I installed it my temps were around 40-41 idle and now today they are at about 47-48 idle. What's the deal? I'm running stock fan and heatsink. Is some of the compound wearing away? Just wondering if anyone else experienced these increases. Thanks
 
I'll give you a bump on this one. I've got an NF7 that does the same thing. I've tried AS3 and 5 several times, and each time my temps start out in the 30's and then hit 40C-45C the following day. I'm using Cermique now, applied a thin layer just as I did with the AS3 and 5. I applied it 3 days ago and so far the temps are holding at around 37-40. Case temps never vary by more than 3C.
