I know when we picked up our (Japan built) Toyota a particularly exciting looking multicoloured roach-type thing scampered out of a boot seal when the dealership fellow opened it up 😉

LOL - no OT for me. Not as bad as P&N, but close. 🙂

Great story though! If the fire is not bad enough, I can just picture these little critters crawling out of the vents while you are cruising on the highway. Not sure what I would do at that point, and I am not that freaked-out from spiders like some people are.

Article says it's in the EVAP system under the car, you'd never even know about them.
