Credit Report Questions

Hi,
I hope someone has answers to some of these questions I have about my credit report.

If I see an account for a credit card that i DID NOT ask for, but was given to me and then closed, what can I do about it ?
(i.e. BofA issued out a credit card to me which I didn't accept but is still listed on my account as closed)
Is it legal for them to issue me credit cards without my approval ?

How to go about changing Name information from the different companies, as they list my name all differently ?

Missing address information (previous address locatons) for some of the credit companies, how to remedy this and will it affect anything ?

If you can help answer any of these questions, it would be much appreciated, or at the very least, point me to someone/place that can help.

If Bank of America really did that(which I really doubt they aren't Capital One heh) then you should get the Feds to bitchslap them.

I would contact all 3 credit bureau's and file written disputes to correct the inaccurate information.

It's not going to happen overnight, it's a slow process.
