oh man, this sucks.

Did you have a deposit on the house? If so, and you got it refunded or a letter from the landlord stating why it was not refunded - well, there's your proof that you moved.

Edit: Copies of a lease or rent payment etc on another house at a diff location may be also be proof taht you moved.

Negotiation should be done over mail and not over phone right? Or can I talk to them via phone and just make sure I have a letter outlining the final agreement at the end?


Stay off the phone with collections agencies. Get everything in writing from others.
