two people get married (as often happens) and one has really good credit and the other has really bad credit... whose credit is now the "official" one? or do they stay separate?
 
I thought credit reports were based on a person by person basis. Being married might lower your risk factor on loans perhaps.
 
oh, right, duh, thats why some people wouldn't be approved for financing but their spouses were. thanks!
