credit card surcharges, on e-bay, need advice..

Some evil spawn of satan woman emails me, that she reported me to e-bay because i charge 2% extra for paypal on e-bay. She says i'm violating visa and mastercard or something. But really i'm charging 2% for paypal, because paypal charges them if they use paypal and paypal does not charge them for getting money into their accounts. Should i be allowed to charge 2%? Also do you just hate it when these people who are just evil, think they are helping everyone by being nosy and trying to get people in trouble. Really i hate this crap. It just soo... AMERICAN actually, i mean really America has to put their damn noses into everything all around the world thinking they are always right. UGGGHHH just makes me mad, these evil people searching around e-bay just to piss me off.

As an American, I will agree that we sometimes come off the wrong way. Americans visiting other countries sometimes give the wrong impression. It is just a social difference. Americans society is different.

Does that mean other societies are better? Hell, no. It is one thing to have a culture clash. It is something else to assume your culture's ways are better.

In short, quit trolling. Blaming your problems on a society is downright silly.

It is illegal in many states to charge surcharges such as credit card.

And e-bay doesnt allow you to charge anything but the final cost except for shipping

says it right in the rules, there's nothing you can do except raise your price

ugh i guess i will change it. damn, oh well anyways i AM an american (an immigrant though when i was 6.. from the philippines no less ...a country that has english as a national language, where people practically worship americans), but what this lady is doing is that reason that people in other countries hate americans . you know what i'm not trolling i actually wanted a actual answer, i was just really mad that some random person would try to tell me how to run my auction, even if i was wrong. I mean it a very very small rule, and e-bay had never said anything. If e-bay had said that i wouldn't have hesitated to change it, but some RANDOM woman just emails me like totally demanding it. &quot;Your auction has an illegal fee .. it has been reported to e-Bay and you will be notified&quot; that is what she wrote in her email, like she was the FBI or e-bay or something. I mean , really can get you really mad. At least here i asked for an opinion and i respect tominator fir3wir3 and john because i've seen them in the forsale/trade forum and i think actually traded with all 3 of them (maybe not john not sure).
