Credit Card required to view Quake 4 product info?

I did a quick search to see if this was posted before. I apologize if it was.

I was trying to take a look at what packages might be available for Quake 4, so I clicked on the "Read more..." link for Quake 4 at Activision's web site. A popup appeared asking for birthdate (which is completely normal) and a credit card number! It does say the credit card won't be charged, but why the hell should I give a credit card number just to view product info?! LOL!

I tried just entering a birthdate and leaving the credit card info blank, but it went to a "Sorry" page, and that's all I get now. It doesn't come up with the option to enter the info again (not that I would anyway). I might clear my cookies later to try again (with a fake number), but to be honest, I doubt it's really worth it.

Why not just go to quake4game.com?

I did. Can you find information at that site about what packages (ie: CD-ROM edition, DVD edition, Super-Happy-Lucky Edition) are available?

They have the regular CD edition and the DVD edition. The DVD edition is $10 more and comes with, this is from the ebgames website

Special DVD Edition Contents:
QUAKE II PC
QUAKE II: Reckoning PC (Expansion Pack)
QUAKE II: Ground Zero PC (Expansion Pack)
The Making of QUAKE 4: Behind the Scenes
Interviews with id Software and Raven Software
Concept and Production Art Gallery

CD version is 4 discs, while DVD edition is 1. Note that the DVD Edition also comes with a bonus disk with the extra material on it.
