What are good "child proof" debit/credit cards?

Anyone have any experience with these cards designed for 13-17 year olds?

Yea it sounds good

Problem I've heard with Visa Buxx is that there's a 1.50$ fee associated with any ATM transations, plus whatever the ATM charges. I'm not sure if this is 100% true, but might be something you want to look into.

EDIT: I heard that there was a fee from the Collegeconfidential Boards in a similar topic as this one.

Here's a link to the topic there Under 18 credit card?

Im 17 and ive had a debit card from age 15.. Its all my money though, i keep above 1k in it at all times, and spend the rest on anything i want. :)

Its a good way to keep track of my money, and it doesnt let me spend more than ive got. :)

visa gift cards. It's the only credit card that people under 18 are allowed to use without "permission slips", and even then, the retailer reserves the right to refuse permission slips.
