You just described the upstart cost of any business.

Giving away your personal credit information to a brand new company (especially if they are not charging you for it )is alot different than trying than a new company trying to sell you a widget....

So did you end up applying for any additional cards, other than Discover?

I did, thanks for bumping thread, i was gonna a find it today for update.

Citi double cash got rejected. I called their helpline last night to find out why, and it's due to lack of credit history, aka no revolving credit reported by experian. So even though I have an average credit score at 750, and a history of paying my bills on time my entire adult life, Citi won't issue the card at this point.

So I started looking at the Amazon visa, through Chase, reviews of the card have some pretty negative comments, mostly about Chase customer service. I don't rely on reviews 100%, but it's hard to ignore.

I may just run the discover for a bit, pay the bill, and see what's up in 6 months with the Citi double cash.
