Credit card limit question.

So what's the highest limit on your credit cards?

Mine's at 15K, but I use over 1K on it. Well, not since I paid it all off a few years back.

Actually I was trying to get an idea of the average credit line ATOTers have. Having a credit line does not determine how rich you are or anything. Just what the bank is willing to lend you.

whatever i have in my paypal account

i just have the debit there, and use it as a credit

1.5% cashback 🙂

right RossMAN? 😉

pretty good deal IMO

I was just thinking about calling CitiBank to ask them to raise my limit.

It's got a $7500 and I often go over or near that per month. Damn Idiots, the last time I asked they said no. WTF I don't think I have another card anywhere near that low.

I have one at over 21k, the rest are right around 10k

If I maxed them all out I'd be about 50k in debt, but lucky me, I'm not............quite anyway...😉

I have a $800CC and I'm quite happy that way. I'd like to get like a $2,000 one though, that way, if something major happens I can have some cash quick.

Paypal Debit Card

1. So if I have Paypal Debit card I'm automatically enrolled in this program right?
2. How can you get or redeem the cashback? You will just get 1.5% of the money you used back in your paypal account?

I dunno as I don't have this Paypal Debit Card. Maybe someone else can answer your questions.

There's absolutely no meric in having a high limit credit card. I was offered a $15,000 last summer and I didn't even had a job. Simply based on the fact that I make over $30,000 a year. I declined because that is simply too much credit for my need.

Is there a limit on that at all?

Even my Amex Green stops giving cashback after $50K/yr. usage and Chase and Citibank are limited to $300 cashback/yr.

Being offered a high limit and getting it are actually two different things.

Anyway, I was thinking about having my limit increased to 30K. Not that I'll use it, but never know when I might need it.
