Credit Card Companies....

Is it just me or does anyone else find it annoying with MBNA wanting to charge 4 dollars for year end summary? Like what % of your transactions were spent on gas, restaurants, etc. This information is not even online for the customer, my discover card did this real time online. Any there any credit card companies out there that do this for free. Grrrrr = )

Bank One/Chase sends me mine for free. I haven't had my Citi cards for a full year yet, should be getting them soon though (unless they end up charging).

Sounds like time for me to make a switch...

Don't care since I have no use for their summary. Even when they are free I don't request them.

Usually they are.
You must have a subprime card.

Thats a good rate
I would call and ask for the fee to be permantly removed.

I think my BankOne card offers the summary free (I don't use that card), but it seems odd that MBNA would charge for it with the Worldpoints card. That's a pretty high-end card.

You mean the fee for the end of year summary or the late fee? The late fee would do me no good as I always pay my bills on time.. = )

Yeah I know. Just had to plug Money because I got it last year and I really like it.

1st Financial Bank does it.....

I have MBNA....dam, they locked my account...AGAIN! They could atleast give me a call when they do so, but no. They close it, wait till I have to make a purchase in some big line and have the cashier tell me my card has been denied. This card will be canceled very soon. Everytime i ask why, they say some charge was suspicious. They act like i am dumb and do not check my statements.

Do you have the standard or deluxe version? I was actually considering that program but was leary of entering my bank information in.

Yeah same here, MBNA will be gone soon. I have to figure out which card to switch to next, looking like a Chase Rewards card so far...

Anyone have American Express: Blue? My dad told me that you cannot carry a balance with them, but I got an offer from them and they mentioned that you could carry a balance.

I think mine was the deluxe but I'll have to check it when I get home. I tried quicken and money and money was able to connect to my CC webpages and download my transactions automatically whereas quicken didn't have half of my CC companies in their list.

Dunno. I've been with MBNA since 1995 and never paid for my summary. It just arrives in the mail.
