Creative 2-day sale starts June 10-12

Looks like a pretty nice deal on a refurb X-Fi with drive bay. There's a new X-Fi PCI-E out now that also supports DDLive. Creative has promised DDLive drivers in July for existing X-Fi cards.

Also a few other deals in there, like Muvos, Zens, head phones, etc.

Platinum refurb shows $60 on the sale front page, but shows $100 on the info page or when put into the cart. Not sure what that means...

Anyone know what the warranty is on like a recertified/refurbished card? It's not lifetime or anything crazy right? I mean they'd have to give you at least a year I'd imagine.

Great deal!

I laughed pretty hard at this part, though

X-Fi 24-bit Crystalizer? enhances MP3s and movies to sound better than they do on their original CD or DVD.

Is it worth the upgrade on any of these audio cards from the Creative Soundblaster 24-bit live card?

I've got two of these on two separate rigs.
One big problem though, the one installed in my Vista64 which I never could get the front panel to work.

Worth the upgrade if I am a gamer using Sennheiser HD 212 Pros (headphones) and an Audigy 2 ZS?

Ooops, NO, it uses the same card as the xtreme music.

Oh, and just for clarity, the X-treme Gamer is nothing but a "reworked" half height version of the X-treme music.
So they all have the same features "on the card itself". (the gamer, music and platinum)

yea I have a music and a gamer....when I first got the gamer I was like....whoooah this thing is too small isn't it....all I could think of was a winmodem..no I got ripped..but its good
only one not to buy is the pci-e junker...it is nothing but junk

Fataility is the one with more memory onboard but I dont' know if its ever been used.
Overall this is a good deal on a nice card..IF you are using onboard or a no brand get one..you won't regret it
