Creative X-Fi: Headphone Detection?

Is there any way to hear sound simultaneously on my speakers and headphones?

Theres a setting in Creative's setup menu about Headphone Detection, but it does nothing when my headphone are plugged in.

I currently have my Logitech 2.1 speakers connected to Line 1, and my headphones connected to Line2. I tried switching them but same result. I want to be able to switch between headphone and speaker sound without having to manually switch the plugs.

This is the Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic. Any ideas???

Use the Creative Audio Control thing. You can do that without switching the plugs around quite easily.

I've tried doing that but its not properly shifting sound from speakers --> headphones

When I switch from 2/2.1 to Headphones, the sound still remains on my 2.1 speakers and no sound goes to the headphones at all.

You must have the headphones plugged in to the wrong port. I believe you need to use Line-Out-2 as the headphone port.
