Creative X-Fi Headphone Balance Control?

Just installed an X-fi Xtreme (cause I'm Xtreme like that...where's my Dew?) and noticed that on the channel test, my right headphone speaker is a lower volume than my left. These are pretty old Sony studio monitors (MDR-V250), I'll replace them at some point, but for now I'd just like to increase volume to the right channel when using headphones.

Issue doesn't present itself with speakers.

I've looked through all the different control panels for the X-fi, gone through the online manual, and can't find anything that can change the balance. Closest I've found is the THX settings, but that's not active when set for headphones.

Am I just missing it somewhere? Or is this not possible?

Thanks for any input.

This is actually a pretty basic Windows feature.

Control Panel --> Sounds and Audio Devices Properties -> Speaker Volume

Manually adjust levels there. You'll have to tweak by ear unless you happen to have a microphone to record SPL levels.

HAH! Classic. I like simple answers. Didn't even think of that.

Kind of sucks that I'll have to switch back and forth manually, but oh well, this'll work for now.

Thanks!
