it's ok as a webcam but don't expect great pic quality(max resolution 600x480) when using it as a camera!

in my experience, yes!

I have that webcam. As a webcam it does it's job. As a camera, it really is a POS. IMO, if you want a webcam but you thought you'd get the PLUS cos of the camera, then don't. Save your money and just get the webcam on it's own.

Actually, as a camera it really is appalling!
