I have installed a Creative 128 bit soundcard on my machine which uses Win2k but only 2 speakers seem to work...i have dual boot and the other OS in win98se and all 4 speakers work on that and it has a configurator too but in win2k theres no tool like that...any idea how i can get all 4 speakers to work in win2k ?

thanx

Are you using the "built-in" drivers for W2K? IE, did you have to install drivers for the soundcard to work?

If you are using the W2K drivers, I recommend upgrading to the latest manufacturer's drivers (Creative). This will likely fix the problem.

You might try running Windows update to get the latest drivers...
