I don't know how I feel about that "Atomic Bomb" roll offered there, but hey, whatever works for you.

I kicked it with my friend Paul last night, and we went to go eat sushi at this amazing all-you-can-eat-hand-rolls-for-$12.95 spot in the Valley. YUM!

I started out with a fisherman's roll... smoked eel, crab, cucumber and avocado cushioned in a bed of rice and wrapped neatly in a sheet of seaweed. Paul ate his with sweet eel sauce vs. the regular soy sauce and wasabi... I tried it, and was instantly hooked. After the fisherman's roll I tried a "rock 'n roll", which included spicy shrimp tempura, crab, some sort of caviar, cucumber, and avocado. *drool* Then I ate a salmon and cream cheese roll, which was just okay. I stuffed a regular tempura and avocado roll in, and finished it off with another fisherman's roll and the tempura out of a tempura roll (I just couldn't eat that much more rice).

Paul only ate four rolls, so I felt like a pig and slowed my consumption after my sixth. The sushi guy was so nice... he stood attentively by as we talked and ate, and as soon as we were halfway done with one roll, he'd zip around and make us another.

Apparently the place has that $12.95 special from Sun-Thurs, 4pm to 11pm. You can bet your sweet bippy I'll be back next week... and the week after that... and the week after that. I have deemed Paul and I shall have weekly sushi outings, as sushi is absolutely necessary for the sustenance of a happy life. My life, at least.

Next time, try to actually eat more than the value of the rolls, try more eels, tuna, yellowtail, abalone, toro, giant clams..etc

Great idea... I'm going to fill up on all of the above, next time. I was proud of myself for refraining from eating any Califonia hand rolls... :p

Wonderful healthy eating and a great price.
I am hooked on that stuff. I go to Fuji (Local sushi and japanese cuisine joint) at least once a week. The people there are so nice and the food is GREAT. I actually have my own chopsticks now and use them A LOT.

Recently I've been trying to find a place where I can order some of the ingredients to make my own. I'm afraid of using regular store bought fish for it... I'd also like to score a set of rice bowls, sushi, and sauce plates. If anyone knows where I could find these things at a decent price, please let me know. The options for buying locally in Tulsa are pretty slim.
