Creative SoundBlaster Audigy

I've had this sound card laying around for awhile so I decided to use it (after my last re-install). It came from an HP media center machine from 2002. Anyway, the driver worked, but not the audio console. I need the audio console to work to configure the digital out. What gives? I downloaded the latest driver from Creative, but the audio console install says " no supported hardware". I remember reading something about bootleg drivers, etc. for Creative products. Any help would be appreciated!
