Best Buy has what I think to be a good deal, Creative Sound Blaster X-fi Extreme for $59.99. How much better is the X-fi than the Original Audigy? I'm not really big into sound and only have a 2.1 speaker setup but I do play games and watch a few DVD's. Is the X-fi a waste of money for me or at $59.99 is this a good deal?
 
If you're only running 2.1 speakers and not big into sound, why do you need a sound card? I think the price is good, but really... if it's not going to be a big deal for you then I would reinvest that money elsewhere in the computer where you'll enjoy the benefit more.
 
If your speakers are nothing special, that would be where you should be upgrading first for a better final result probably.

btw, was that the Xtreme Audio or the Xtreme Music?
