Creative Slim 500 speakers - any good?

Im looking for some speakers that cost around 50-60 bucks. 2 sats + 1 sub and the sats need to be wall mountable to save desktop space.
Ive been looking at the CL Slimline 500 series.
Any of u guys using these? any good?
Any other recommendations be gladly received,

Ive just been looking at the Altec Lansing ATP 3.
Specs show the sats being a bit more powerful than the CL's. Not wall mountable, but small enough to hide i guess.

Need your help guys, i aint no audiophile 🙁

Just want cheap speakers with no distortion at normal volume levels.
I used to have the CL DTT2500's - i felt that the sharpness of the sats was not as good as they could have been, so am wary of the CL speakers.

Good bass and sharp sats = ?? for 60 odd bucks?
 
For 50 bucks get the Labtec Pulse 424. These are awesome speakers for only 50 bucks. Sh!t, get two sets for 100 for 4.2 sound! 🙂
