Hey guys I just purchased new speakers and I have some trouble setting them up properly via the Realtek HD audio manager/speaker properties.

Speakers : Creative SBS A335 multimedia speakers.

Problems currently : Videos dialogue sound is way too low even on full volume. While playing games dialogues are just missing.

Current settings :

The drivers are upto date. Is this a driver problem or do I need different drivers?

@space they do need to be checked as the subwoofer doesn't work otherwise

Is there just one cable from (typically a 3.5mm cable with a light green tip) from your PC to the input on the speaker unit?

If so, you need to configure it to stereo. The subwoofer will work properly when you do this.

The 5.1/7.1 configuration should only be used if you are connecting speakers to the center/surround/sub woofer outputs on your sound card.

@space Yes there is only one 3.5mm cable inserted into speaker unit. I have set it to stereo and now everything seems to be fine. Thanks
