I just replaced an Creative X-Fi soundcard with a new Recon3D card. Both cards have an internal HDA (High Definition Audio) connector but I cannot get the Recon to detect the front mic. The audio works and is detected when plugged in but not the mic. It worked fine on the X-Fi and I checked that the pin outs are the same on both cards, and the case I'm using is the same. I checked the connection several times and I'm thinking it's something with the card being so new. Maybe drivers are too new. I'm hoping some one owns one and can tell me if they can get there's to work or if there is something that I am missing? The case I'm using is a Coolermaster Cosmo's 1000.
I fixed it. If anyone is having this problem there is a setting in the control panel software on the mixer tab. You click input device front panel and it will start working.
