I keep getting a small error window that pops up when i boot up the computer. The error window doesnt have any message, just a red X and its title says Creative Playback. I click 'ok' and the Windows Media logo stays on my desktop along with a tab in the taskbar with just the logo. There is no way to close this tab and it doesnt show up as an app in Task Manager. The logo is the same as the one you see when you open mplayer2.

Has anyone experienced this? I was told to make sure that my sound card was the default device and it is. Im running an Audigy 2. A note is that I didnt have this problem before I installed my codecs (SLD and K-lite), but now I've uninstalled both and the error still comes up.

I've updated all my Creative drivers and keep almost all other drivers updated. I am not runnng SP2 and havent flashed my Bios for awhile though...

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advanced,
Alex
