I have a zen touch, always worked fine with the provided creative software(creative mediasource organizer) to transfer music to it from the computer since I bought it. I just got an Xbox 360, and I needed to update my frimware on my zen touch in order for my xbox 360 to detect it.
So I upgraded the firmware to the newest version, 2.11.01 ( released on December 1st, 2005) for Windows XP. I knew this would delete ALL files I had on my zen touch, but I didn't care because they are all still on my computer. After the upgrade though, mediasource organizer will not detect my zen touch..I've reinstalled all of it to my computer, and it still won't organize it...every time I connect the zen touch it prompts me to use windows media player to "synch" the device, and I tried that but I have to select EVERY song indivudally, which is like 1500 songs and I'm not going to do it.
I followed the instructions on a page on creatives website, but still I can't get it to detect it. So right now I have no songs on my zen touch, and I am not using windows media player to transfer them, so does anyone know what is wrong and have a fix for it??
Thanks
