Creative Live Drive interchangeable????

I have a Creative Live Drive IR from my Creative Platinum 5.1 POS......I was looking at the Audigy2 with it's own live drive which looks the same...(optical in/out, RCA in/out, spdif in/out, headset w/volume, line in 2 w/volume and midi in/out.......

If I get the audigy2 card for $100 less than the platinum card can I use my old live drive????

Any help would be appreciated.

With an Audigy 1, yes, but not with an Audigy 2.

The pinouts are different on the Audigy 2.

Do you mean that the Audigy 1 can use a Live Drive, or that the Audigy 1 can use the Audigy 2 drive?

He means that the Audigy one can use a LiveDrive.

The Audigy 1 can use the old live drive, the 2 requires the new version.

Which creative doesnt sel in the US seperatley because they are asshats
