Finally got around to installing this doohickey a week after I received it. Very cool little gizmo, perfect for a mp3 jukebox PC. Thanks also for all the help with IRAssistant.

I'm having problems with the master volume controls. When I either <volume up> or <volume down>, my sound gets muted. (mute box becomes checked....while volume bar is adjustable with volume buttons on remote) Also, the <toggle mute> seems to only be able to mute...but it is unable to release the mute.

I am controlling the master volume as a general macro....which is what most of you other IRAssistant users are doing.....

What am I missing here?

I have the same problem using XP Pro. Not sure whats going on so I just dont use it 🙂

I put it on my WinXP Pro and it works fine. According to the troubleshooting html doc that came on the CD, you might have to remove it from device manager under the "mouse" section. I had to do that and all is good. =]
