I'm assuming that the link you provided includes a referral/commission portion. Might want to edit it out and just provide the product number or somethin'.

burr, cold in here. Buy.com has the toshiba drives with the same specs for 89$. Im sure you could muster up a 10$ coupon from somewhere, then find a decoder from compgeeks for about 20$. Cheaper then amazon. Still a good deal if you want to get it all from the same place.......but with amazon, you never know if you "will" get it at all. Just my 2 cents.

Creative Drives suck!! Get a Toshiba with the Hollywood card. I had 3 Creative drives 2 DVD and 1 CD all of them failed within a year or so under normal use. My 3 Toshiba drives have been running great under very heavy use for 2 years without a hicup.

just for the record.

I have creative 6x dxr3 and have no problems whatsoever.
Also have an old 6x4x24 creative burner with no probs either.

My dvd player looks awesome ont he TV and has a 5.1 output on the card.

I think this is a good deal
