Creative Labs Inlay PC-DVD en7160e and voodoo 3 2000 dont mix well

here's the story, i got my samsung 5x dvd, en7160 CL inlay card, and a voodoo 3 2000 agp, i've tried the player included in the software package, and other dvd players (luxsonor ls220), i got it working when i used cyberlink power dvd and intervideo windvd 2000, but the thing is it aint using the mpeg decoder to decode, instead it's using the cpu which make's it sorta laggy, when i used the software included (creative play center) i get this green screen in the dvd player's window, but i can get clear picture through the tv out in the inlay card. any ideas as on this ppl???
