Creative Inspire 5300's with Turtle Beach Santa Cruz?

Hi. I'm looking at buying a set of 5.1 speakers to pair with my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card, but I'm a little confused as to the card's capabilities to do 5.1 Dolby Digital for DVD. I'm looking at either the Creative Inspire 5300 or the Yamaha Tss-1B. I'd prefer to get the Inspires ($60.00 savings), but only if 5.1 Dolby Digital in movies is possible with this sound card - speaker combo. I thought it would be possible at first, but Creative's site leads me to believe that the speakers will only support Dolby Digital with a Live or Audigy card. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a TB Santa Cruz hooked up to my VideoLogic Digitheatre DTS system (Dolby Digital/DTS enabled). I haven't been able to get Dolby Digital to work on my speakers though, so i've set it at Dobly Pro-Logic ever since i got the system. I haven't watched movies since i got my system, and I mostly game- so the Dolby Pro-Logic is sufficient for gaming.

I know that didn't help Mike_C., but if anybody can help me out to my Dolby Digital/DTS situation it'd be great.
