I have had difficulties finding reviews about these two products. I was wondering if anyone here could help me figure out pros and cons of these speaker systems. I know they are both digital. However, I have also heard that Creative peripherals and accessories find it hard to adapt to non-creative hardware. Is this true?
Furthermore, how would you compare the two creative systems to a logitech 5300? Do any of these speaker systems use S/PDIF input?

Edit: I found out that the 5500 supports S/PDIF. However, could you still help me in a comparison? It seems nobody has been able to review the GD580. And how do they compare to Logitech speakers? Thank you again.
