Creative Encore DVD Kits and Windows 2000

Do the Encore DVD Kits from creative labs work in windows 2000?
I know you can use "software" decoding for the DVD drive but I was wondering if there are any drivers that let you use the decoder card that comes in the kits.

There exists a BETA driver for the DXR3 kits. I must caution you for the drivers seem to break many programs.

You can find them from the ASIA creative site only.... I don't know where but its findable.

also if you have the dxr2 kit then I think you can get the drivers from the support page.

I dont have the kit yet, but was thinking of getting one
I want the decoder for tv out, etc...
are there any other decoders that work?
and if so any suggestions on what DVD drive and card to get?
