After buying these speakers I have had nothing but problems..

I read the review on them on this site but have not been able to find any related links which was surprising.

Now that I have them working at last I have noticed that whilst playing games and music the centre speaker does not work whilst fourppoint/5.1 din is selected. This makes little sense to me. Does the center speaker only work with dolby 5.1 sound sources. I am using the creative 5.1 player sound card too so it should all be compatible. Is there any way for all 6 speakers to work whilst still preserving the EAX in motocross madness 2.

I'd be interested on other peoples views on these speakers as well as the answer to the above problem.

I would rate these speakers as overly complicated and poorly thought out.

Many thanks for your advice

whilst?? WTF? lol...

Anyway...I think the middle speaker only works whilst you're using Dolby 5.1 but I could be wrong.

How do I use 5.1 ? I have connected my DVD drive with the digital spdif cable but when playing "the perfect strom" which must be dolby 5.1 if did not auto detect and didn't work in dolby mode.

The middle channel has to be supported by the game you are playing. Make sure, whilst configuring the game in question, that it supports 5.1 mode.

what program are you using to play DVDs?
PowerDVD? WinDVD?

make sure that the option is check for having full Dolby 5.1 support in the DVD software.

I have an ATi all in wonder pro 128 with a built in hardware DVD de-coder which I use to play my DVDs (ATi software). I used it earlier and the audio results were not good. I use the Creative player 5.1 soundcard and I thought these would all work well together. Would I be better off using WIN DVD 2000 or POwerDVD 3.0?

Also are these avialable via download.

Thanks.

Although the ATi supports dolby there is no mention of 5.1 support and it will not play from the center speaker in 5.1 mode.
