Creative Annilator 2 MX PCI okay????????????????

I was wondering if the Creative GeForce is a good card. The thing that makes it different is it has 64 BIT DDR on it instead 128bit SDR, how would this affect its performance. The other thing is that it's PCI, which is what I need but how baddly does it drop the performance, I know that OpenGL suffers a minnimal drop but I haven't heard anything good about D3D yet because the Hardware T&L is very limeted. But if I used software T&L or used my cpu to do it, would it get better performance.
So basically what I'm asking is this the best PCI card for my Celeron 500 cpu.
