Creative 8432 CD RW

Anyone out there using the Creative 8432 CD RW? If so, how would it compare with other models in it's class? Thanx.

Be careful, not all 8432's are the same. The originals were rebadged Plextors and were Clone CD compatible. I bought one and it is in fact a rebadged Korean make, Samsung I suppose. It actually says Model No.8438 on the drive.

A much better deal is the Iomega 12X4X32 for about the same $$, it is a rebadged Sanyo with burnproof and is CD Clone compatible after a firmware flash. Got one of those also. 50% faster on burns and I don't think you could make a coaster if you tried. Do a search on Iomega in the Hot Deals forum, there are a million threads on it.
