Yeah it seems to go for around $60 or so on average

yeah they just lowered it

hey they just lowered the 256mb muvo tx fm to 39$ great little player for workouts and mowing grass and such (i love mine)

that's nice for the price. I always feel they are charging too much for a HD these days, now this makes it buyable.

Great deal!

I'm on the fence.

Between this Nana and the SanDisk 1GB MP3 Player, which would you choose and why?

They're currently the same price at CC.

Thanks

I'd like to know the same thing. Also, are there fairly easy to hook up in your car?

interesting. frys had the 512mb on "sale" for about the same price lol

fm tuner is easiest. better to use cassette adaptor..better quality/no interference. line in jack on faceplate is best, but so many cd decks just don't have em🙁 there are other ways but those genearlly involve a bit of wiring and ripping out decks and such

if the sandisk is a sansa e series, id take the zen. in fact, im thinking of it. i got a sansa e140 months ago, and i pulled it out of my pocket one day after about a month, and the lcd had cracked, making all the neato features it had useless. mine is effectively a shuffle now, because it doesnt sort by filename, so it only randomly plays mp3s (and that was annoying even when the screen worked,i have alot of live music without idtags)

kinda annoying, since i like live music sets :/

also, the case for the sansa is *awful*. its a clear plastic thats ok, but with large snap-buttons to hold it closed. i never used mine because it made the thin profile player twice as thick, literally.

xSauronx,
I meant in comparison to the m240, I think it is. (The current line not the "e" line)
They're both currently the same price at CC.

I looked everywhere for the "e" 512MB version but couldn't find it.
Now that you say they're fragile, it's probably better that I didn't find one.

This is a great little player. A friend of mine got one and I had a chance to try it out. I demo'd it using Sennheiser HD280s and the little unit drove the headphones very well to my listening level at only 2/3 the way up on the volume bar.

- This thing is TINY! A bit smaller than a shot-gun shell if I remember right. Runs on 1 AA battery. Battery life, unknown.
- Doesn't require any drivers to transfer files over USB (except a USB cord) and can hold files other than MP3 (for storage only).
- The sound-quality was really good for a tiny litttle player like that.
- The built-in 5-band EQ was very acceptable for a tiny little device.
- It has a great HOLD feature which you can turn on through the menu. What makes it nice is it's difficult to deactivate it accidentally.

- My only concern was the way it navigated songs/folders (since I keep my albums by folders). I couldn't easily skip to another album without going into the menu. Skipping tracks and fast-forwarding in songs was easy, though.
- The scroll/menu wheel device felt a bit cheap and I wonder how long it would last before possibly breaking.

But a GREAT deal for ~$70 in terms of sound quality and portability.

I read the reviews.
There are some horror stories.
However the overwelming majority seem to gush positiviely about it.

Some claim the volume is to quite.
Some claim the volume is to loud.

One enduser claimed the previous driver version was better than the current version. He advised searching the Internet for ZenNanoPlus_PCFW_LF_1_10_03
He mentioned after he installed it all was well.

I forget the date of his post. I recall one post being January 2006. I forget if that was him.

Does anyone know if Circuit City (CC), RadioShack (RS), BestBuy (BB), Staples or CUSA take competor's coupons?

OfficeMax has a $10 off $40 purchase coupon circulated via snail mail and email.

If Radio Shack (closing stores) have a $10 coupon and accepts OM's $10 coupon, we can score this for $50.
