Creating Server 2008 R2 SP1 Slipstream Disk

Now that SP1 is out for Win7 and Server 2008 R2, I was wondering how to create a Server 2008 R2 SP1 slipstream disk?

RT Seven Lite v3.0 RC - Changelog

* New GUI
* New Tweaks
* Easy way of selection to remove components - No more checkbox
* Supports Final Service Pack integration
* Slipstream Service Pack to all available images in WIM
* Uninstall Service Pack from WIM (Only if you integrated Service Pack using RT Seven Lite not supports pre-integrated service pack windows 7 by Microsoft)
* Burn images to Blu-ray disc and fully upgraded Bootable task
* Most of the bugs are fixed
* Product key errors during setup. You can now enter your own Genuine product key. [FIXED]

The RT7 Lite site mentions Windows Automated Installation Kit as a requirement. Is that something I would need to install if I just wanted to use RT7 Lite on a Win7 system to create a Win7 or Server 2008 R2 slipstream disk?

I read that thread again you linked to on Hard Forum. Joe_Average mentions that RT7 lite makes alterations to files? Can anybody elaborate on that?

"The issue I'm concerned with is that RT Seven Lite makes some alterations to files when it creates a specific edition ISO that won't be exactly the same as the "official" ISO from Microsoft, hence me knowing that this was just an exercise and not a serious thing at this point. I won't use this SP1 integrated installation USB stick (or the ISO I created) for client machines, only my own hardware for the testing until that official ISO appears. "

You have to be in a 64bit environment to slipstream a 64bit iso.

And why is that? If you have a Windows 7 x64 pre SP1 DVD doesn't it just need the files from that and the SP1 package downloaded from MS? Why does it matter what version of Windows you run it on?
