I have some videos that are currently in .wmv format. How can I make it so that these will play on a regular DVD player?

You're either going to have to convert them to AVI (Non divx) format for a VCD/SVCD or to Mpeg format for a standard DVD format (vob files).

VCDHelp.com is a great place to start.

VCD/SVCD are both mpeg formats.

SVCD is actually just like a DVD just different specs.

Then what AVI format can be played on a DVD player? I personally don't make VCD but i thought there was a format of AVI that a DVD player could play.
