I have a document in which I have typed out 500 names and address's well someone did it for me but thats be sides the point. I need to make lables from them how do I do so? I tried doing it the way Word 2000's help file says but that doesnt work. It just takes the first name from the list and fills in all the lablels using that. Here is how the addresses are typed in:

First name Last name First name Last name First name Last name
Address Address Address
City, State zip City, State zip City, State zip

First name Last name First name Last name First name Last name
Address Address Address
City, State zip City, State zip City, State zip

First name Last name First name Last name First name Last name
Address Address Address
City, State zip City, State zip City, State zip

and it continues on.

I still use Office97, but if your info is in 3 columns with a blank line separating each label data, you should be alright. It might be easier to transfer the data to Excel or Access. I personally only deal with Word/Access mailmerges.

If your data is not in columns, I think you may have to separate each with tab spaces and then transfer to Excel.
