My laptop uses Intel 85252/85255 integrated video, and while its not the best it can do 1920x1200 video for my desktop, however I want to kill 120 lines essentially.

I am trying to get 1920x1080 resolution out of my laptop, however it appears that the driver for controlling the output is locked to specific resolutions. Using powerstrip it lets me send my laptops screen 1920x1080 (its a 1280x800 screen) it then causes the screen to pan based on where my mouse is.

However it appears that the resolution for the output via my VGA card is locked with specific resolutions and the closest to 1080p are 1920x1200 and 1600x1200. I am willing to hack the drivers or registry or whatever to get it to do 1920x1080, anyone have any ideas?
